Disney’s Direct to Consumer’s Content Acquisition team is seeking a Content Partnerships Manager who will be an exceptional addition to our global licensing team. As a Content Partnerships Manager you will be an integral part of the Global Licensing Content team acquiring from Anime content partners, globally. You will participate in all stages of our content acquisition process - tracking and evaluating programming opportunities, helping define our global licensing strategy through rigorous analysis of data, and working cross-functionally to amplify and grow the Anime content portfolio for DTC. This role demands someone who has Anime expertise and with their deep knowledge of the Anime content space, create actionable insights, to effectively drive change - all at a breakneck pace.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Evaluate potential content and partnership opportunities and analyze market, social media, and competitor trends to identify white space and competitive positioning
Track and vet new content for quality, appeal, and fit with our programming strategies
External: Primary CP contact for account management, coordinating with cross functional teams (Accounting, Marketing, Strategy, etc.) to ensure seamless partnership execution
Internal: Leads post-deal coordination with Ops, Marketing, PR, and OCM to ensure successful content launches
Create high-impact materials (priority decks, one-sheets, hype content) to drive alignment and excitement across leadership, Marketing, PR, and OCM teams
WHAT TO BRING
Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience at a major media company or consulting firm/investment bank, anime content knowledge with a strong understanding of audience trends and the competitive landscape
Exceptional communication, organizational, and quantitative analysis skills

The hiring range for this position in California is $126,800.00 - $170,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
