Manage all aspects of assigned Union hourly workforce that is performing manufacturing of composite parts, FAA Safety Sensitive Work (Time & attendance, time off, rewards, vouchering, training, communications, etc.) Demonstrates commitment to the EH&S program by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities.

Meet business metrics goals as defined for each cell (Cost, Quality, Delivery, EH&S)

Lead process improvement opportunities to enhance quality, decrease process cycle time and reduce operational costs.

Implement root-cause corrective actions in a timely manner to ensure quality standards are maintained.

Plan, schedule and assign jobs/labor for complex manufacturing operations.

Meet the schedule, plan and execute contingency plans.

Commitment to Train and perform Toolbox talks/Coach employees to develop a motivated, effective team.

Facilitate shift to shift communications, ensuring pass downs are communicated daily.

Understand job and labor costing.
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Advanced degree and 6 months of experience in Military, Manufacturing, Business Operations Management, Engineering, Aerospace or Aftermarket industry; OR Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant industry experience; OR associate’s degree and 4+ years of relevant industry experience; OR High School diploma or Military / Technical Training and 6+ years of relevant industry experience
Qualifications We Prefer:

Degree in STEM field; Engineering, Business or Supply Chain.

FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate (A&P license)

Personnel management experience, ideally within a bargaining unit / union workforce environment.

Proven ability to lead mentoring, coaching, developing talent and motivate teams to achieve business goals.

Demonstrated experience in P&L management, with a track record of delivering financial performance.
-
Aftermarket Aerospace and Overhaul and Repair (MRO) industry experience.

Working knowledge of Pratt & Whitney shop practices, quality standards, processes and procedures
-
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma, QCPC and RCCA).

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, SAP ERP, and Solumina MES.

Ability to work and effectively communicate with all levels of management, shop personnel and customers.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
