Position Summary
This position entails leading both direct and collaborative teams through the Aetna Product development and implementation lifecycle. The individual chosen for this role will be expected to develop and manage detailed implementation plans to execute product strategy in collaboration with enterprise-wide cross-functional business partners. They will also work to increase and retain membership of Aetna Medicare Supplement and Ancillary Health / Life insurance products.
The chosen individual will be required to perform the following:
Articulate product and technical strategy to key business partners during product development and requirement sessions
Elevate risks, communicate dependencies, and recommend alternative solutions in a timely manner that allows for mitigation and/or strategic reaction
Establish and foster strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners to foster mutually beneficial relationships and meet business needs
Effectively manage multiple competing products/projects with effective prioritization and eye for detail
Take full accountability for end-result, serve as product expert, and leverage all resources available to achieve objectives
Leverage in-depth knowledge and understanding of products across functions in directing the development and implementation of new product initiatives
Evaluate and provide requirements/specifications for use of appropriate business processes and systems to support product initiatives
Anticipate resource needs, set priorities, establish accountability, define roles/responsibilities and manage relationships to focus necessary resources
Oversee the work of junior-level Product Management and Development team members to ensure operations and deliverable align with expectations
Required Qualifications
7 - 10 healthcare related work experience
Experience at managing significant product and system initiatives
3-5 years experience in project management
3-5 years technical and implementation experience
Experience preparing and delivering executive‑level updates and presentations, translating complex information into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders.
Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with executive‑level management, aligning stakeholders and influencing outcomes.
Experience and skills with strategic thinking, communicating for impact, collaboration, and driving for results
Ability to be innovative and resourceful in developing solutions
*This position is located in Franklin TN. You will be required to work in the office several days a week**

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$75,400.00 - $165,954.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
