Dover Fueling Solutions is looking for a highly motivated Summer Intern to join our Test Automation team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on real-world IoT-enabled fueling and automation systems, while gaining hands-on experience in software quality engineering and test automation.
Interns will have the opportunity to explore the domain, understand end-to-end system behavior, and contribute to building reliable, high-quality solutions.
Assist in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks
Contribute to end-to-end system test automation across integrated platforms
Work on mobile application test automation (Android/iOS as applicable)
Develop and execute automated test scripts for IoT-based applications and systems
Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios
Participate in debugging, issue analysis, and root cause identification
Contribute to improving test coverage, quality processes, and automation efficiency
Document test cases, results, and technical learnings
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably C#)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Self-driven, proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn (“go-getter” attitude)
Educational qualification to be mentioned
Exposure to IoT systems, embedded systems, or automation testing
Basic understanding of test automation frameworks or tools
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Understanding of software testing fundamentals
Hands-on experience in IoT-based test automation within Dover Fueling Solutions
Exposure to real-world fueling and automation domain systems
Mentorship from experienced QA and engineering professionals
Opportunity to work with modern tools, frameworks, and engineering practices
A strong foundation in software quality engineering and automation
