Role Definition
Leads team responsible for developing and implementing new and improved plant operations including production and manufacturing, maintenance, engineering support, safety, regulatory compliance, distribution and warehousing.
Responsibilities
• Training and developing teams capable of completing business objectives and perform and support the plant operating functions.
• Coordinating tool design, assembly, manufacturing processing, cost estimating, systems planning, layout, standards, releasing, etc.
• Coordinating capital projects for process enhancement and to improve customer satisfaction, conducting research and ensuring proper approvals.
• Coordinating the installation of new machines and equipment and process changes to provide the most efficient and economical manufacture or assembly of quality parts.

Capacity Planning & Management - MFG: Knowledge of tools, approaches and practices for determining production demand and ability to manage resources needed to provide satisfactory levels of service.
Level Basic Understanding:
• Names several capacity-related measurements and installed tools.

• Locates internal and external informative sources or proprietary materials about capacity planning & management.

Manufacturing Application Systems: Knowledge of company and industry databases and applications used in a manufacturing environment; ability to operate, maintain and update these systems.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Uses and maintains information or data stored in specific application; reports unusual situations.
• Documents the major interfaces and dependencies to and from other systems.
• Follows procedures for the maintenance and upkeep of the databases.
• Uses all basic features of the information system in context of own work.
• Works with a specific type of manufacturing application or information system.
Manufacturing Equipment: Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing; ability to safely operate, maintain, update and store them.

• Explains where and how to obtain more equipment-specific information.
• Lists basic aspects of routine and preventive maintenance.

This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
