Job Overview
The Director, Operations leads and coordinates the overall operational efforts of the Manufacturing center and provides leadership and direction for the Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance and, or Building Maintenance teams. Promotes a team environment and fosters cooperative relationships with all internal and external customers and suppliers; while developing and directing a plan which ensures high production efficiencies, a safe work environment, and production of the highest quality product.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct, manage, lead, and motivate the quality, maintenance, and production teams to deliver results by communicating company goals (including quality and customer satisfaction), safety practices, and deadlines; recruiting and retaining; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training; implementing continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus; and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership
- Oversee compliance with all Consolidated Management Systems, ISO standards, and quality agency requirements to ensure product quality, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and efficient operations
- Facilitate cross-functional actions to drive continuous improvement in production, quality, and safety
- Develop and manage expense, capital, and labor budgets to support CCCI’s budgeting, cost-related decision-making, and long-term financial planning
- Ensure the satisfaction of all internal and external customers, CCCI plants, and Corporate functions and develop strong partnerships with suppliers
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- 5-7 years of previous experience in manufacturing Food and Beverage industry experience preferred
- Management Systems experience, ISO 9001, 14001, 22000, SQF
- Ability to lead, manage, and develop a team
- Computer skills – SAP, Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to manage constant change in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to plan and execute complex projects
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walking manufacturing floor, climbing stairs, and lift up to 25lbs
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
- Knowledge acquired through 5 to up to 7 years of work experience
- Valid Driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business
