POSITION OVERVIEW:
The primary function of this role is to evaluate customer RF & Microwave filter technical requirements and develop accurate and timely quotations on behalf of the Business Development & Sales staff. This function also works closely with Engineering to ensure alignment with current design, manufacturing, and testing methodologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Retrieving and evaluating customer requirements for RF & Microwave filters, including technical requirements, quality clauses, etc.
- Selecting the proper filter design topology, product series, etc., based on customer requirements
- Creating part numbers in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Assigning appropriate product pricing using the released internal pricing guide as a reference
- Developing pricing models for new products not included in the internal pricing guide
- Creating product quotations in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Supporting Business Development and Inside Sales personnel in customer meetings
- Regularly interfacing with Engineering to maintain alignment on best practices for design, manufacturing processes, testing, etc.
- Supporting Engineering with preliminary filter design when required
- Owning, validating, and updating the internal pricing guide on a quarterly basis using actual cost data
QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- 5+ years’ Engineering experience
- Clear Verbal and Written communication skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed
- Must be willing and able to travel on occasion
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge and experience with estimating engineering design work
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to analyze and solve problems with a moderate-to-high degree of complexity
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite products (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to effectively plan and manage dozens of unique opportunities at once
- Ability to effectively analyze technical requirements documents, inclusive of Source Control Drawings (SCD), Quality Clauses, etc.
- Ability to learn and operate effectively in CRM and ERP applications
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pace environment

Pay Range: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually]
