Amentum is seeking a highly motivated Additive Manufacturing (AM) Business Officer to join our team in Rota, Spain, supporting the Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC). Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining strategic relationships with Spanish military and advanced manufacturing industry partners
- Coordinate with Spanish Armada personnel to develop business rules and prioritize additive manufacturing efforts
- Identify and pursue opportunities to leverage additive manufacturing capabilities to enhance production and operational effectiveness
- Lead and support FDRMC participation in NAVSEA additive manufacturing working groups
- Facilitate collaboration across the NAVSEA enterprise to share best practices, techniques, and innovations in additive manufacturing
- Support development and tracking of business metrics, performance data, and payment structures for additive manufacturing products and services
- Assist in coordinating Acquisition Cross Service Agreement (ACSA) requirements with the Spanish Armada for supply and service support
- Provide cross-functional coordination between engineering, logistics, contracting, and international partners
- Support continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and product development efforts related to additive manufacturing initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience interfacing directly with Spanish contractors or organizations
- Demonstrated experience in business operations, program coordination, or international partnership engagement
- Familiarity with additive or advanced manufacturing concepts and applications
- Strong understanding of cross-cultural communication and international business practices
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across government, military, and industry environments
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Experience working with the Spanish Armada or NATO partner organizations
- Familiarity with NAVSEA processes, working groups, or U.S. Navy maintenance/engineering environments
- Background in additive manufacturing technologies, production workflows, or product development
- Experience supporting or coordinating ACSA agreements or international logistics arrangements
- Knowledge of government contracting, budgeting, or cost tracking processes
- Experience developing and managing performance metrics and business analytics
- Prior experience working in a forward-deployed or OCONUS environment, supporting mission-critical operations
- Active or recently held security clearance
Compensation Details:
$90,000 - 110,000
