The Students and Graduates Recruiting Consultant is a trusted advisor with a continuous improvement mindset. A strategic business partner providing Students and Graduates recruiting thought leadership and operational support across the enterprise to help us attract and hire the next generation of pioneers, innovators and problem solvers that will continue to help Caterpillar forge a successful future!
To be successful, you’ll need to:
- Provide direction and guidance to all levels of employees on Students and Graduates recruiting policies and procedures, ensuring consistency
- Develop and optimize relationships within the Students and Graduates Recruiting CoE (Center of Excellence) to achieve a focused, standard approach to Students and Graduates recruiting
- Leverage your Students and Graduates recruiting knowledge, best practices, and market trends to support the objectives of the Students and Graduates Recruiting CoE (Center of Excellence) and key stakeholders across the enterprise
- Utilize data and market intelligence to support Students and Graduates attraction and recruitment strategies and initiatives
- Manage summer intern programming (onboarding to offboarding) and support Students and Graduates event registration and logistics (i.e. career fairs, diversity conferences, etc.)
- Collaborate with other regions across the world to share best-in-class practices and lessons learned.
- Ability to influence key stakeholders and drive the adoption and utilization of Students and Graduates technology and tools (i.e. Workday, Handshake, and Beamery)
What You Will Have:
- 4 year university or college degree
- Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
- Customer/Market Focus: Understanding of the importance of remaining aware of shifting market priorities and ability to respond to internal and external customer needs in a manner that consistently adds value.
- Recruitment Channel Management: Knowledge of the benefit, selection, implementation, and operation of various recruitment channels (e.g., computer databases, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms and employee referrals); ability to use appropriate channels to achieve objectives of organizational talent strategy.
- Candidate Screening: Knowledge of techniques, methods and processes of candidate screening; ability to preselect suitable candidates for first and further interviews within the organization.
- Candidate Sourcing: Knowledge of techniques, methods and channels of candidate sourcing; ability to attract and qualify candidates for immediate job vacancies or as potential long-term job candidates.
- Staffing and Recruiting: Knowledge of standards, processes, techniques and methods used in staffing and recruiting; ability to identify, select, retain and relocate qualified personnel, both internally and externally, for a wide range of positions.
- Workforce Analytics: Knowledge of human resources (HR) and workforce issues and trends; ability to analyze workforce data, information and metrics and apply the results to support business decisions.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
- Experience with analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in Students and Graduates recruiting systems (i.e. Workday, Handshake, and Beamery) is preferred
- Experience working with Students and Graduates diversity and inclusion organizations is preferred
- Experience presenting complex themes to audiences at various levels within an organization
- Outstanding judgment & creative problem-solving skills
Additional Info:
- This position will be located in Irving, TX
- This role requires 5 days a week in office
- Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify

Summary Pay Range:
$97,530.00 - $146,290.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
