Not RequiredBecome part of the growing Avionics FPGA/ASIC team. This position is for a highly experienced and motivated Electrical (or Computer) Engineering Lead that will be involved in the architecture, design, implementation, verification, and integration of a wide variety of high-performance digital systems that incorporate FPGAs and ASICs into a product solution. As an electrical engineer in this organization, you will be employing best practice project management methodologies supporting our next generation of Avionics Products, in addition to numerous products enterprise-wide.
What You Will Do :
-
ASIC/FPGA/SoPC digital architecture development and design.
-
Develop RTL design code and simulation in VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog.
-
Create UVM constrained random environments using SystemVerilog.
-
Create placement and timing constraints.
-
Perform synthesis, place and route.
-
Perform static timing analysis, linting analysis, LEC, and clock-domain-crossing analysis.
-
Requirements capture, decomposition, and traceability.
-
Perform ASIC/FPGA/SoPC verification using inspection, analysis, simulation, and test methods.
-
Lead the Pursuit, Proposal, Planning and execution of Design and Development Projects for Avionics Complex devices

Develop project and program strategies to advance the Complex Hardware discipline and products.

Ensure alignment to program, product line, and corporate goals while meeting certification requirements up to and including DO-254 DAL A.

Communicate with a wide variety of individuals including Engineering, Program Management, Internal Leadership, Supply Chain, Operations, Service Centers, and Customers

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

Proficient writing RTL and/or testbenches using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.

Proficient with Linux (or Unix), scripting, C/C++, Python, and/or Perl.
-
Proficient using FPGA specific tools (e.g. Questasim, Vivado, Libero, Synplify Pro, etc.).

Experience with data interfaces (PCIe, DDR, I2C, Ethernet, CDN, ARINC-429, etc.).

Experience with device level timing and clock domain crossing.

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

Experience leading technical projects including customer interaction, and briefing leadership.

Experience with DO-254 or DO-178 design assurance activities (DAL B or higher)
