Marketing & Communications Intern
“The internship will begin on May 4 and conclude on August 28.”
Position Overview
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications team, the Marketing & Communications Intern will support a range of marketing and communications projects and strategies. This role will help create and deliver clear, compelling content, support campaign execution, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and assist with measuring results to improve future initiatives. The intern will gain broad exposure across communications, marketing, brand, and engagement activities while contributing to key departmental priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development & Communications Support
- Draft and edit content for internal and external communications, including newsletters, announcements, intranet/news posts, email communications, case studies, and other marketing materials.
- Support updates to digital communication channels and content platforms, including intranet or SharePoint-based sites, to help ensure clear, consistent, and engaging messaging.
- Contribute ideas to improve communication effectiveness, engagement, and storytelling across channels.
Marketing & Campaign Support
- Assist with the planning, execution, and reporting of marketing and communications campaigns and initiatives.
- Help develop marketing assets and content that showcase the organization’s value, culture, services, and brand.
- Support department projects related to brand campaigns, engagement initiatives, and promotional activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with team members and stakeholders across the business to support communication plans and marketing initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues across communications, marketing, and other functional areas on priority projects and deliverables.
Analysis, Insights & Reporting
- Research communications and marketing best practices and provide recommendations to enhance current tactics and strategies.
- Track and report on campaign, communication, or project metrics to help evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with preparing dashboards, summaries, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
General Department Support
- Contribute to additional communications and marketing projects as needed, gaining well-rounded exposure across the department.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Interest in communications, brand strategy, campaign management, employee engagement, and marketing initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, intranet platforms, design tools (such as Canva or Photoshop), AI tools, or email marketing platforms is an asset.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Pay rate : $21.50 et $25.50
The compensation offered for this role is determined based on the qualifications outlined in the job posting for the specified location. Final compensation is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant work experience, or particular skills and expertise. In addition, some positions may be eligible for other compensation such as potential overtime, bonuses or incentives.

Work Environment
Office : 2 days in the office & 3 remotely.
Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in an office environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area.
