Material Program Manager (MPM) needed for the Raytheon TOW Program in Tucson, Arizona. In this role, you will participate in proposals by developing and leading supply chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates. Have excellent written and oral communications skills to influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one’s own job function as well as with parties external to the organization. You will partner with the Centralized Proposal Team and ensure accurate and timely proposal submission from supply base. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, budgeting and financial management, issues, and conflict resolution. The MPM may act as the Control Account Manager (CAM). Working at the front end of the business, the MPM identifies and secures Supply Chain resources to support the capture plan and manages the Supply Chain content of the proposal pipeline.
Additionally, you will apply your existing knowledge of material requirements planning, manufacturing and business acumen within a matrixed organization. You will develop and execute material program strategies/plans for a program or integrated product team. Overall ownership of the supplier management process (i.e., Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance, metrics, international issues, develop/evaluate the make/buy strategy, etc.), and communication of customer flow-through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc. As a member of product team in a matrixed environment, you will frequently need to communicate within and outside your function, internal/external suppliers, and internal/external customers. Accordingly, it requires your ability to influence others outside of your immediate work area to explain gain alignment on plans, policies, practices, and procedures.
What You Will Do

Understanding and Application of principles, concepts, industry practices and standards related to MRP planning systems (e.g.- SAP, Oracle, and other next generation ERP systems).

Master Data, MRP Scheduling and Capacity Planning.

Customer Proposal generation.
-
Maintain/Assess the integrity of the MRP environment and your programs’ schedule within that environment.

Balance supply and demand to create/maintain executable schedules.
-
Support Estimates at Complete (EAC) and monthly Earned Value reporting.

Resolution of supplier issues and delays.
-
Supply Chain Metrics tracking, reporting and improvement actions.

Cross functional collaboration with program teams.
Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

Experience in either Supply Chain, Finance or Proposals.

Qualifications We Prefer

Preferably a degree in Finance, Management, Supply Chain, or similar field.

Experience with material estimating and understanding of TINA requirements.

Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment.

A self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management as well as supplier management.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks they will be required to perform.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
