About the Opportunity
You will join a growing Digital and Data Solutions team focused on building practical, scalable AI and data-driven solutions across the business.
As an AI Consultant, you will work directly with internal teams and clients to identify opportunities, shape AI use cases and support the delivery of solutions that improve decision-making, reduce risk and drive efficiency.
This role is consultative and delivery-focused. You will be working across the full lifecycle, from problem definition and strategy through to solution design and implementation.
You will contribute to a diverse portfolio of work, including AI strategy development, data maturity assessments, automation, knowledge solutions and predictive analytics.
This role reports into the AI capability within the Technology division and offers the opportunity to help shape a growing, high-impact area of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Working with stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify where AI can add value
Facilitating workshops and discovery sessions to define use cases and opportunities
Supporting the development of AI strategies and roadmaps aligned to business objectives
Assessing data maturity and identifying opportunities to improve data foundations
Designing and supporting the implementation of AI solutions, including:
Knowledge and document copilots
Automation and workflow optimisation
Reporting and insight generation
Collaborating with technical teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions
Supporting bid and proposal activity with AI capability and insight
Contributing to the development of reusable solutions, case studies and best practice
Here’s What You’ll Need
Experience in consulting, digital transformation or delivering data and AI-related projects
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into structured solutions
Confidence working with stakeholders to understand challenges and define outcomes
An understanding of AI, data and analytics concepts (no requirement to be a deep technical specialist)
Ability to work across both strategy and delivery in a fast-moving environment
Desirable Experience
Experience working with AI tools, automation platforms or analytics solutions
Exposure to project controls, PMO or operational delivery environments
Experience running workshops, discovery sessions or client engagements
Familiarity with data platforms or cloud environments such as Azure
Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments
Mindset and Approach
Curious and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and apply new technologies
Commercially aware, with a focus on delivering value and outcomes
Comfortable working in ambiguity and helping shape new capability
Strong communicator, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
