Job Summary
The Laborer Foreman plays a pivotal role in supporting the Labor Superintendent by contributing insights to identify key success factors for the Labor crew. This leadership position involves establishing an effective organizational structure and processes essential for the seamless execution of services. Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to establish organizational structures and processes necessary for the successful execution of Labor services.
- Collaborate with the General Foreman to ensure effective communication and coordination within the team.
Safety Compliance:
- Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations (OSHA, safety training) and handles hazardous waste properly when required.
- Enforce safety protocols, conduct briefings, and ensure proper use of protective equipment.
Execution Oversight:
- Ensure the precise execution of Labor services in adherence to contract specifications, design data, schedule, cost budgets, and quality standards.
- Evaluate Labor service execution and promptly communicate status, issues, impacts, risks, and cost factors to the project team.
Resource Allocation:
Oversee the usage of machinery, tools, and materials to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
Inspections & Quality Control:
- Regularly inspects buildings and grounds to ensure adherence to cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards.
Planning and Deviation Management:
- Maintain short-range look ahead plans, proactively identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan.
- Discuss and collaborate with the General Foreman on deviations, proposing solutions and mitigation strategies.
Inventory & Equipment Maintenance:
- Monitors inventory levels for cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is functional, performing minor repairs or repairs to tools like floor buffers.
Documentation:
- Keeps records of staff attendance, supplies used and completed inspections.

Basic Qualifications
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to address on-site issues promptly.
- Leadership: Ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team of laborers.
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial services (often 3-5 years) with proven leadership Capabilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, cleaning methods, and equipment safety.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Physical stamina for walking, standing, and light lifting, must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English to facilitate effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
- Must possess a passport book (not a passport card) with at least 12 months of remaining validity and 4 blank visa/stamp pages.
- You must hold a valid driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity.

- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment with multiple interruptions/distractions.
- Excellent customer relations, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Comfort working in varied outdoor weather conditions
