The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team
RTX has an opening for an SAP ABAP Developer (Manager, Business and Program Management) position.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP and Fiori development, with specific expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance.
The role focuses on supporting the plant maintenance and depot area, contributing to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP solutions.
What You Will Do:
• Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP programs and enhancements in the plant maintenance and depot areas.
• Collaborate with functional Business System Experts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Work with the technical team and business stakeholders to support Plant Maintenance and Aftermarket processes. Develop and maintain SAP Fiori applications in the Plant Maintenance area, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.
• Debug and resolve system issues, providing technical support to ensure smooth operations.
• Optimize existing ABAP code and perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and performance standards.
• Support system upgrades, patches, and other technical initiatives as required.
• Document technical designs, processes, and solutions in compliance with RTX standards.
Travel: up to 10%
Qualifications You Must Have:
• Minimum of 8+ years' experience in SAP ABAP development and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. Proven expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance, with a solid understanding of Plant Maintenance functionality and industry processes.
• Experience with SAP Fiori development, including UI5 and OData services.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SAP modules relevant to the Plant Maintenance area (e.g., PM, MM, QM).
Qualifications We Prefer:
• Experience working in a Best Cost Location (BCL) environment.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
Ability to travel up to 10%

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
