Raytheon has an opening for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solution Architect (Sr. Manager, Business Systems and Transformation).
Overview:
Are you interested in playing a key role in defining the future of Aerospace and Defense? If so, we are hiring an ERP Solution Architect to help drive our oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation (PST) program.
The SAP Solution Architect will be responsible for providing solution and application architecture support to the Raytheon ERP Transformation team with a primary focus on designing and governing business systems/applications integrations with SAP S4/HANA. In this position, you will work with various Business and ERP Core teams to develop vision, strategy, and technical solutions to deliver best practice solutions. Work with application team leads, team architects, and enterprise architects to deliver application team deliverables related to support and deployment of ERP solutions. Participate in building business cases as necessary to support hypotheses. Provide technical input to long term technical strategic plans and support to achieve goals and objectives. This will include developing complex processes that integrate infrastructure, architecture, and cyber team engagement to achieve the desired technical end-state.
This architect role will work across functional organizational boundaries to leverage expertise wherever it resides in RTX as needed to support the development and sustainment of RTX’s ERP systems as RTX continues to drive large scale, transformational initiatives that will consolidate and evolve foundational platforms.
What You Will Do:

Define the Raytheon business applications and solutions integration architecture for connecting to SAP S/4HANA, including APIs, interface patterns, and data integration approaches.

Lead the design and governance of integration objects such as interfaces, conversions, API specifications, OData services, IDocs, and middleware integrations.

Research solutions for complex integration problems using a variety of methods and modalities.

Develop and maintain key architecture deliverables including Integration Strategy, Business System Architecture Integration, and end‑to‑end interface designs.

Evaluate integration technologies and patterns and recommend approaches that improve scalability, reliability, security, and standardization.

Partner with business process teams to identify integration touchpoints and ensure boundary‑system capabilities align to future‑state S/4HANA processes.

Provide architectural oversight for reimagining or replacing capabilities and application system replacements impacted by the ECC to S/4HANA transition (i.e. Contract Management, Manufacturing Execution, Warehouse Mgmt, etc.).

Ensure integration solutions meet non-functional requirements such as performance, availability, security, and data integrity.

Work with process teams to determine scope of objects needed for S4 deployment including but not limited to reports, conversions, interfaces, enhancements and forms.

Produce and deliver clear architecture documentation including interface catalogs, diagrams, and data flow models.

Align integration decisions with enterprise architecture roadmaps and shared platform strategies.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years experience.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
-
Experience using modern tools to integrate business applications and systems with SAP. Knowledge of SAP Business Integration Suite, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and modern middleware platforms (i.e. Apigee).

Experience in configuration of SAP S/4HANA across key ERP workstreams – Record to Report, Order to Cash, Source to Pay, Plan to Sustain.

Experience in S/4 HANA implementation, system conversion, landscape transformation, SAP Cloud application integration using Agile, or SAP Activate methodology.

Experience in architecture modeling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect.

Full lifecycle experience with SAP ECC and/or S4HANA (design, build, test, deployment, and sustainment.

Experience with SAP development concepts including: ABAP, user exits, BDCs, reports, and core SAP data structures.

SAP module experience in Production Planning (including MRP), Quality Management, Human Resources, Controlling, Project Systems, Sales and Distribution, (contracts, invoicing, shipping and delivery), Financials, and Grouping Pegging and Distribution.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
