Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stocking practices
- Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, organizing products, and conducting stock counts
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting remote customers
- Support store operations by supervising team members when needed and ensuring adherence to store policies
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Bilingual skills are a plus for connecting with diverse customer bases
- Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide outstanding customer service are essential
