About The Role
As a CBRE Business Intelligence Sr. Analyst, you will beresponsible for conducting advanced research, data mining, reporting andinterpretation of company performance metrics. This position would be a lead developer supporting a major healthcareclient.
This job is part of the Data Science & Analytics jobfunction. They are responsible for reviewing, processing and analyzing datathat supports improving effectiveness and predicting outcomes to developbusiness intelligence.
What You’ll Do
- Generate and review reports using aggregate data from multiple sources to assist in creating a complete evaluation, improvement, or recommendation.
- Review the accuracy of information provided and respond to escalated requests from management and vendors.
- Understand and work with advanced scenario planning tools and models. Investigate new trends in general business conditions.
- Identify opportunities for large improvements among the clients and company.
- Work with personnel from other departments and information technology groups to facilitate successful project implementations.
- Review the creation, maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics.
- Act as subject matter expert for key systems and processes and day-to-day functions.
- Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine to moderately complex problems.
- Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several functional real estate disciplines.
- Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
- Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
- Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices while identifying opportunities to enhance analytics processes where appropriate. Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate data and analysisinto actionable insights that support operational and strategicdecision-making. Act like an internalconsultant.
- Identifyopportunities to streamline or automate recurring reporting and analyticsprocesses to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Support data consistency and reporting alignment by validating datadefinitions and metrics across reports and dashboards.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
- Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents, with grounding in good data management and data governance principles.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Experience and high intermediate skill developing with in businessintelligence, reporting, or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau,or similar).
- Familiarity with additionalanalytics or data tools such as Python or SQL.
- Desired: Experiencewithin Commercial Real Estate (CRE) or a related industry.
- Desired: Exposure tocloud-based data or analytics platforms, such as Snowflake or DataBricks
- Desired: Understanding of data modeling, scenario modeling, or semanticlayer concepts.
