Description:You will be the Sustainment Engineer for the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) team. Our team keeps the PAC 3 missile system mission ready by managing spares, logistics, and sustainment throughout the product lifecycle.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Sustainment Engineer you will drive spares analysis, forecasting, and logistical support for the PAC 3 program. You’ll partner with program management, customers, and international partners to ensure launchers remain operational and cost effective.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Perform spares modeling and Level of Repair (LORA) analyses for fielded and depot level parts.
• Translate requirements into proposal inputs, develop ground rules, and present them to the proposal team.
• Participate in Customer IPT meetings, review engineering changes, and advise Concept Screening and Configuration Control Boards on logistics impacts.
• Resolve spares issues quickly and cost effectively, coordinating with the PAC 3 Obsolescence and Launcher Maintenance programs.
• Conduct short and long term logistics and sustainment analyses for flight and ground equipment, shaping the Sustainment CONOPS.
• Recommend improvements to spares processes, modeling methods, and sustainment concepts.
• Respond to management and customer inquiries, delivering status briefings and recommendations to internal leadership, USG, and foreign partners.
• Travel occasionally to support meetings and on site reviews.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience, and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
-Experience in spares analyses and material lay-in/hardware management.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively present technical data and collaborate across functions.
-Proficient with Microsoft Office.
-Highly motivated individual with operations, logistics and supply chain experience with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to work multiple projects and issues simultaneously under general guidance.
-Excellent organizational, research and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills:
-Familiarity with sustainment and logistics products/tools and principles.
-Experience supporting Configuration Control Board to ensure Logistics requirements/impacts are met and mitigated on new and modified designs.
-Advanced proficiency utilizing Excel macro, pivot tables and visual basic experience.
-Familiarity with spares/demand forecasting methodologies, reliability and maintainability concepts, and level of repair analysis/provisioning. Ability to gain detailed understanding and use of various spares and logistics engineering optimization models.
-Experience with Proposal Inputs, BOE Development, and Statement of Work Requirements

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
