Job Summary
We are seeking a Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Java and/or Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. The role involves building scalable, high‑performance backend services and APIs while working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust production-grade systems.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Kotlin
- Build and deploy Spring Boot–based Microservices
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs
- Implement business logic with a focus on scalability, performance, and security
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases for data persistence
- Apply best practices for clean code, SOLID principles, and design patterns
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams
- Perform unit testing and integration testing
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and performance issues
Core Technical Skills:
- 2–4 years of backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in Java (8+)
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin for backend development
- Solid experience with Spring Boot
- Strong understanding of Microservices architecture
- Experience building REST APIs
- Knowledge of Spring Data JPA, Hibernate
- Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Working knowledge of Git and version control systems
Good to Have / Preferred Skills
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
- API security using JWT, OAuth2
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Knowledge of Kafka / RabbitMQ
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Unit testing using JUnit, Mockito
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum environments
