As a Software Development Engineering - Advisor I, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

What you'll do:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

Analyze complex processes and technological applications
Design solutions in the real-time, payment and funding settlement area
Design, develop microservices for highly efficient protocol translation and enrichment with reactive design patterns
Develop high throughput and high-volume transaction APIs that can be consumed by omni channel platforms.
Experience you'll need to have:
3+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services
3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in Java, with 5+ years of experience in Spring framework and Spring Boot
3+ years extensive experience in designing and building highly scalable, fault‑tolerant distributed systems for high‑volume transaction processing applications, leveraging reactive programming paradigms for asynchronous, non‑blocking, and event‑driven architectures
Deep understanding of Object-oriented Programming and design patterns.
Experience on creating unit test using JUnit, Mockito
5+ experience with databases and code integrations such as Oracle and NoSql
5+ years expertise in implementing complex full‑stack solutions, including digital and mobile systems, RESTful APIs, and microservices in large enterprise organizations, with a proven ability to deliver high‑quality results under tight timelines with Agile methodologies
2+ years experience in processing financial transactions using ISO8583 protocol
Strong understanding of PCI DSS compliance, PII handling standards, and secure defensive coding practices across application layers.
Salary Range
$110,000.00 - $186,000.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
