The Advanced Common Products (ACP) Portfolio has an opening for a Business Operations Manager position reporting to the ACP Portfolio Senior Director. This position will support program leadership as a member of the program leadership team, and work with the respective integrated program managers and cross product teams.
The Business Operations Manager is responsible for driving program execution, alignment, and cadence through coordination of schedule/event management and direct engagement with the program teams and functional partners. In pursuit of day-to-day program cadence excellence, this role must work assigned tasks quickly, efficiently, effectively, and proactively identify priorities and areas for improvement. This role will coordinate program and customer interactions to optimize program effectiveness and facilitate an effective working environment.
ACP is a collection of common products that is experiencing rapid growth to meet the needs of our internal customers. ACP includes the Ultra electronics stack and isoBlocks. These products are used on more than ten adopting programs including two munitions acceleration programs. Production, transition to production, daily oversight, strategic planning, clear communications, streamlined cadences and capacity expansion are our top priorities.

- Partner with ACP LT to ensure day-to-day program execution cadence (battle rhythm), (ex. Manage aspects of projects and special assignments)
- Prepare the ACP Portfolio communication messaging for delivery to the Naval Power Leadership Team
- Coordinate, plan, and manage strategic meetings for the ACP Portfolio such as monthly program reviews, all hands, skip levels, onboarding, weekly staffing reviews, daily status meetings, etc.
- Manage and drive day-to-day program execution cadence (battle rhythm) of the portfolio
- Capture and track program action items to completion and work with action owners to ensure timely satisfactory closure of actions, including actions owed to senior leadership above the program level
- Collection of weekly metrics, updating metrics walls and presentations for metrics
- Prepare, revise, update, and monitor required progress to RLPM gates and new product introduction actions
- Facilitate discussions across the program team to develop program strategies toward major milestones
- Coordinate updates to and tracking of Control Tower Metrics
- Develop program-enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations (typically organized into integrated product teams (IPTs) and/or cross product teams (CPTs)) including but not limited to Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management etc.
- Display strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills, and comfortably interact with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of leadership
- Support the program risk and opportunity process, in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations
- Ability to confidently interface and influence at all levels within the organization
