The Demand Planner will be responsible for integrating functions of Business Development, Finance, Operations Planning, Customer Service and Supply Chain to develop demand plans that support the business plan. Scope of responsibilities includes integration of customer provided forecast, vehicle production schedules, constraints and financial plan, while reporting OTD, developing build to stock recommendations, creating burn down plans, forecasting sales and ad hoc reporting.

What You Will Do
-
Develop and maintain a rolling 18+ month unconstrained demand plan for OE, Aftermarket, and MRO/Spares using historical data, customer insights, and business intelligence
-
Lead monthly Demand Review meetings to drive alignment and establish a consensus demand plan across stakeholders

Perform weekly order book reviews and forecast reconciliation to ensure alignment between actual demand and forecast

Conduct regular program reviews to align on demand variances, key decisions, and planning assumptions

Analyze demand performance metrics and KPIs, identify trends, and lead root cause analysis with corrective actions to drive continuous improvement

Ensure data integrity and accuracy of demand inputs, including ongoing demand data maintenance and validation
-
Understand and ensure compliance with customer contracts as they relate to demand planning requirements
-
Document and communicate forecast assumptions, risks, and variances in a timely manner to the Program Management Team (PMT) and key stakeholders

Participate in and support broader SIOP processes, including Financial Reconciliation, Supply Reviews, and Executive SIOP meetings

Utilize demand planning systems (e.g., Kinaxis) to manage forecasts and maintain demand parameters, including bi-annual parameter reviews

Support implementation of process improvements and system enhancements related to demand planning

Review and manage adherence to Management Authorized Material (MAM) approval processes as required

Collaborate cross-functionally with Program Management, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment between demand plans and business objectives
Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

Experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics \
-
Familiarity with SIOP/S&OP processes
-
Experience with demand planning tools (e.g., Kinaxis, SAP APO/IBP, Oracle, etc.)
-
Travel as business needs dictate- 10% a year
Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with Excel including Pivot tables and VLookUp, data analysis capabilities

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field

Demonstrated leadership in Demand Planning and Forecasting by effectively coordinating cross-functional efforts and driving alignment across all areas

Skilled in synthesizing and analyzing complex data sets to draw meaningful insights and support high-impact decision-making

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
