Job Summary:
This position will perform verification and validation of Marine Propulsion Control product line. The responsibilities will include requirements review, creating test plans based on requirements documents or change requests, reviewing test plans with systems engineers for thoroughness, performing tests, documenting results of the tests and reviewing the results with suppliers, systems engineers as well as clients. Helping with field as well as CPI issues, replicating field / customer issues on test bench, identifying root cause. This position will interact regularly with Systems Engineers, Product Support, Product Application, and Installation teams.
Job Duties
• Review requirements and create test plans. Review plans with system engineers for feedback
• Execute test plan, document results, and highlight concerns
• Support application and product support team in software and systems troubleshooting
• Review existing test plans for thoroughness and address gaps
Consideration for top candidates:
- Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering or Computer Science curriculum
- Advanced English-speaking level.
Skills the candidates will have:
Analytical Thinking
- Demonstrated strong technical and analytical skills
Embedded Systems
- Engineering working knowledge
Product Testing
- Working knowledge of testing embedded control systems, using CAN protocols, building harnesses and test benches
Top Candidates will have:
- Experience with vehicle comms (J1939 and Modbus) is a plus
- Proficiency in testing embedded control systems
- Working knowledge with testing Engine or Machine electronic systems is a plus
- Demonstrated strong technical and analytical skills
Additional Information
- The location for this position is Monterrey, MX.
- Work schedule is Monday to Friday (7am-4pm).
- This position may require up to 10% travel- domestic and international.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
