Collaborate with engineering teams to create high-quality documentation that meets user needs and customer standards.

Write, format, edit, review, and proof-read procedural and technical information for both technical and non-technical audiences as a SETS Radar Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Apply SME knowledge and expertise to the review, development, and sustainment of training courseware.

Organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology

Maintain records and files of work including revisions, images, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material.

Deliver technical product training to key stakeholders, ensuring training materials are comprehensive, effective, and delivered on time.

Maintain project timelines for training and documentation deliverables.

Coordinate with task lead to ensure that milestones are met, and risks are managed
-
Working knowledge of the Common Product Data Management (PDM) system and how to leverage its capabilities.

Ability to read, interpret, and analyze Engineering documentation such as: Engineering Drawings, Parts Lists, and Schematics

Travel is expected to be 30%, this will be domestic travel.

This position is based at Raytheon’s Woburn, MA location.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

Experience with system radar.

Experience creating/editing written technical documentation in a military and/or civilian environment.
Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with other active electronically scanned arrays or radar / sensor systems

Understanding and application of Instructional Design concepts in blended learning principles

Experience with Microsoft Office, Publisher, HTML, Dreamweaver, and eLearning software

Understanding and application of Graphic / Visual Design concepts

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional presentation capabilities

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
