Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated and driven Quality Engineer for a position based in Grand Prairie, TX supporting the PrSM program. The position will require working flexible hours with some travel to support Lockheed Martin production sites and suppliers across the United States. Our team is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems to ensure the production of high-quality materials and products.
What You Will Be Doing:
As the Quality Engineer Associate, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems
- Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes
- Conducting quality assurance tests and performing statistical analysis
- Auditing quality systems to identify and correct deficiencies
- Ensuring corrective measures meet reliability standards and documentation is compliant with requirements
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's or Masters degree in a STEM related discipline from an accredited college
Experience with or certification in lean manufacturing/Lean Six Sigma
• Willingness/ability to travel to support program issues/needs as they arise (up to 25% travel)
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and support engineering activities related to special process surveys and supplier issues.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Desired Skills:• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical blueprint reading, critical design attributes and auditing/surveying capabilities.
• GD&T familiarity
• Strong problem-solving skills, corrective action and causal analysis techniques
• Ability to Interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
