Description:We are seeking a Huntsville Site Production Operations Integration team member to join the site leadership team. In this role, the successful candidate will partner closely with program and functional leadership to deploy production operations methodologies across the Huntsville Site.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Support Huntsville Site Production Operations Sr. Manager to fully implement production requirements and poise the site for success to maximize production capacity
• Creating and maintain site metrics utilizing the LM Space Focused Leader Excellence (FLEX) Daily Management System
• Establish and lead site production business rhythm
• Engage with customer counterparts as necessary
• Develop and maintain a robust action item database that establishes deadlines and tracks closure
• Planning, organizing, and completing projects (technical and non-technical) within area of assigned responsibility.
• Pursuing opportunities to improve, change, or lean out processes
• Partnering with program and functional organizations to integrate capital planning for the portfolio
• Serving as a key member of the Business Continuity Crisis Management Team
• Partnering across functional organizations to prepare site and program leadership for annual quality audits
• The roles and responsibilities of this position will be dynamic depending on business needs and the successful candidate must be able to execute with significant autonomy and be adaptable to change
Basic Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or related field
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in program management, operations, assembly, or system integration and test
• Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives
• Demonstrated experience with product ownership including authoring and maintain authorizing documents, floor support, and problem solving in collaboration with Quality, Engineering, ATLO, and other supporting groups
• Team Leadership or Project Management Experience of a Multi Functional/Discipline Team
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, including ability to think critically, bridging strategic end goals to actionable opportunities
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Experience leading and integrating across cross functional teams
• Experience partnering with senior leaders driving and optimizing business rhythm(s)
• Demonstrated ability to establish close working relationships with key senior leaders and their staff
• Familiarity with LM Space, SMD, and Huntsville Site
• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
Desired Skills:• Familiarity with OneLM Culture
• Familiarity with FLEX Methodologies (Performance Management Teams, 6s principals, etc.)
• Familiarity with key customer stakeholders (e.g. MDA, Army, Navy)
• Experience planning, and participating in key site reviews (e.g. IOR)
• Experience interfacing with multiple groups such as ATLO, Systems, CPEs, SMEs Mechanical/Electrical Test, Production, Manufacturing, SVDI, PMO and customers
• Demonstrated ability to grow and seek new challenges
• Demonstrated understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
