About The Role
As a CBRE Procurement Associate (Jr. Buyer), you will provide support to the Procurement and Sourcing Team on various initiatives including database development and management, document administration, and client reporting.
This job is part of the Procurement function. They are responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, services, or raw materials from vendors and suppliers.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with the tracking and organization of various vendor documents.
- Research suppliers to get pricing and specifications based on corporate usage and specifications.
- Track products and services to make sure they are delivered on time and meet the required standards.
- Communicate with internal customers to provide customer service support.
- Assist with administrative support. This includes scheduling appointments and relaying information to internal and external clients.
- Compile and condense data into a comprehensive presentation form for management review.
- Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent. May recommend new techniques.
- Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related.
- Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.
What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
- A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.
- Ability to evaluate and communicates unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Procurement Assoc (Jr Buyer) is $75,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Procurement Assoc (Jr Buyer) position is $85,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
