Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electronics Bench Technician to join our repair
team. This is a shop-based position focused on diagnosing and repairing industrial
electronic equipment, with a strong emphasis on AC/DC motor drives (VFDs).
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair AC/DC motor drives (VFDs)
- Troubleshoot industrial electronic equipment at component level
- Repair PLCs, HMIs, touchscreens, power supplies, and related industrial controls
- Perform testing and verification of repaired units
- Document findings and repair actions
- Maintain organized bench and work area
Required Experience
- Hands-on experience repairing AC/DC motor drives
- Strong understanding of power electronics
- Ability to troubleshoot to component level (IGBTs, capacitors, boards, etc.)
- Experience in an industrial electronics repair environment
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with ABB, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Yaskawa, or similar brands
- Experience repairing PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control boards
- Technical degree in electronics or equivalent hands-on experience
