Oracle Health Government Services is seeking a skilled Senior Consultant to join our VA Critical Support Team within a mission-driven organization. In this role, you will be responsible for working directly with Operations, Support teams, and VA stakeholders to resolve complex, persistent issues impacting end users within live client environments. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) solutions, system build, implementation, and workflow alignment, along with the ability to operate independently in highly complex and regulated environments. You will be deployed to client sites to assess workflows, identify root causes, and drive resolution, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure successful outcomes.
Internal Responsibilities
- Partner with Operations, Support teams, and VA stakeholders to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system and workflow issues
- Deploy to live client sites to assess workflows, ensure adherence to approved processes, and drive resolution of critical issues
- Apply Oracle methodologies, leading practices, and industry expertise to design and implement effective business solutions
- Support event-driven methodology activities by contributing subject matter expertise and collaborating with technical, clinical, and operational teams to drive issue resolution and process improvement
- Influence customer leadership to support adoption of solutions and facilitate resolution of persistent end-user challenges
- Contribute to statements of work (SOWs), work breakdown structures, and staffing plans
- Present and demonstrate solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Lead or support solution design efforts, ensuring high-quality, integrated outcomes across systems
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Oracle Health solutions and relevant industry best practices

- Expert knowledge of Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) solutions, healthcare workflows, system build, implementation, and workflow alignment
- Ability to independently solve complex problems and drive issue resolution in live client environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence leadership
- Experience working across cross-functional teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Manage ambiguity and navigate complex challenges with a solution-oriented mindset while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer focus
- Knowledge of clinical and operational domains including Referral Management, Registration and Scheduling, Laboratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Perioperative Services, Behavioral Health, Community Living Centers (CLC), Oncology, Supply Chain, Specialty Care, and Ambulatory workflows
Education, certifications, or experience (preferred/required):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 6–8 years of relevant experience, including 3–4 years of consulting experience preferred
- Proven experience in healthcare IT consulting, implementation, or support roles
- Experience supporting federal clients (VA/DoD) strongly preferred
- Required travel up to 50%
- US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
