Job Description Summary
The Assistant Engineer – Quality (Electroforming) will be responsible for electroforming process quality, including material testing, in-process and final quality inspections, associated with electroformed aerospace components. The role requires flexibility to work across shifts, strong hands-on experience with electroforming processes, and proficiency in inspection and testing techniques relevant to electroformed parts, knowledge of aerospace quality standards, special processes (with specific focus on electroforming), and applicable codes and specifications, as well as familiarity with Aerospace QMS systems and shop-floor operating cadences. A strong product and process safety mindset and expertise in core quality tools are essential. Quality, NDT, and process certifications will be considered an advantage

Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for working in Electroforming process quality operations.
Promote a strongproduct and process safety mindsetin electroforming areas, including safe handling of chemicals, PPE usage, and adherence to EHS requirements.
Verifydimensional, visual, and surface integrityof electroformed features as per drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
Coordinate and interpretmaterial testson electroformed deposits and evaluate per specification. Review material test reports for conformance and document results in QMS systems
Support containment and correction of nonconformances impacting electroformed features.
Supportroot cause analysisandcorrective and preventive actions (CAPA)for electroforming-related defects. Usecore quality tools(5 Why, 8D, FMEA, control plans, SPC, MSA) to improve electroforming process robustness and reduce defects while supportingMRB activities
Identify and executecontinuous improvement projectsto enhance electroforming yield, reduce scrap/rework, and improve process capability.
Flexibility to work across shifts and have hands on process operation and inspection expertise
Knowledge on quality standards, special process and codes
Knowledge of Aerospace QMS systems and operation cadences
Product & process safety mindset along with knowledge on core quality tools
Quality and process certification are added advantages
Ideal Candidate:
Candidate withhands-on experience in electrodeposition/fabrication/assembly quality operationsin aerospace or a similar industry.
Experience inprocess control,material testing, andquality inspection of precision components.
Strongattention to detail,ownership mindset, ability towork across shifts, and effectivecross-functional communication
