Work Arrangement - Onsite
The successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Tech Center on a full-time basis. This role requires up to 50% domestic and international travel.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
The purpose of this role is to integrate the needs of the Electrical & SDV Organization into a balanced vehicle solution that can be manufactured safely with excellence. As an Assistant Electrical Integration Manager, you will enable upcoming and future launches by integrating Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) and Vehicle‑as‑a‑Tester (VaaT) into manufacturing from concept through pre‑production and plant builds. Supporting the plants to make it happen for our customers.
- Drive Electrical manufacturing integration from concept through to pre-production and plant builds.
- Develop plant and program strategies for new products in conjunction with Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV, Other Manufacturing Centers and Manufacturing Planning.
- Unify cross‑functional teams on a clear, shared direction to accurately capture overall Electrical impacts to manufacturing.
- Bring the Electrical SDV and VaaT voice to program planning, making the proper escalations through the organization.
- Collaborate with global team members across multiple time zones, requiring flexibility and strong communication skills.
- Foster a forward-thinking work culture that embraces change and navigates future organizational and industry challenges.
- Build and nurture strategic relationships across various functions including software, manufacturing, and program management to synergize efforts towards future innovations.
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in engineering field or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of GM Manufacturing systems, Tooling systems and Electrical Content within the assembly process.
- Comfortable knowledge of the Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP).
- Candidates should be Action oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong teams and work cross-functionally / collaboratively.

- Domestic or international travel depending on program/position.
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous Plant or Launch Assignment.
- Electrical, Software Architecture, and Program Team Experience.
- Manufacturing Engineering experience.
- Product launch or project management experience.
- Working vehicle systems knowledge and the ability to review product design proposals for manufacturing impacts.
