Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable Linehaul Driver with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) w/doubles endorsement to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers on a fixed route, ensuring timely delivery of no-touch freight to Fedex hub.
This is an on-call when needed position with no fixed schedule, so it will be listed as a part time position. It is a fixed route that starts at our Redding hub and travels to Sacramento and back. No overnights and home at the end of every shift with great pay.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with automatic transmission from Redding to Sacramento and adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- "No touch" freight. Drop and hook.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Fixed route.
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record and experience operating tractor-trailers.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and compliance standards.
Pay: $300.00 per day
