Boeing Brazil is seeking Associate Airplane Systems Integration Engineer (Service Ready – MCURE & FRACAS), reporting to the 777X Airplane Systems Integration organization of Boeing Brazil, working out of the São José dos Campos office.
This Associate Airplane Systems Integration Engineer (Service Ready – MCURE & FRACAS) will be joining the 777X team as a Systems Engineer supporting the Service Ready – MCURE & FRACAS team.
FRACAS Position Responsibilities:
· Support the Component FRACAS (Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System) process by collecting, analyzing, and correlating component failure data and associated performance metrics.
· Prioritize and track corrective actions through closure, verifying supplier-implemented fixes and validating effectiveness via data-driven follow-up.
· Participate in significance assessments and predictive analyses to identify trends, risk areas, and potential in-service implications ahead of Entry Into Service (EIS).
· Support development of mitigation strategies, reliability growth plans, and hardware/software design changes to reduce recurrence and improve component reliability.
· Contribute to programmatic system organization and logistics including the Problem Report (PR) system, review board meetings and action items
· Prepare and manage failure and process health metrics, including concise technical summaries, risk assessments, and recommendations for stakeholders and program leadership to inform readiness decisions for EIS.
MCURE Position Responsibilities:
• Support the MCURE (Message Capture and Understanding Resolution Effort) team by analyzing flight test fault data to identify unexpected, intermittent, and nuisance faults that could impact system performance or flight test objectives.
· Contribute to programmatic system organization and logistics including Problem Report (PR) system, review board meetings and action items.
· Participating in fault data analysis and triage cause determination, using appropriate tools and sources as well as follow-up with flight test, engineering and lab personnel
• Collaborate closely with flight analysts and flight test ground operations to gather context, reproduce conditions, and validate fault occurrences against telemetry and test logs.
• Facilitate cross-functional troubleshooting sessions and maintain clear action-item tracking until faults are resolved or appropriately mitigated.
• Validate fixes or mitigations in integration or flight-test-representative environments and confirm reduction or elimination of nuisance behaviors before recommending closure.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Web-based analytics system for lab and flight test fault reporting, analysis and corrective action system (FRACAS).
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
· Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
· Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
· Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA). Applicable to Brazilian, recent engineering graduates within 6 months and foreign engineers when the employer is willing visa sponsor.
· Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
• Revelant experience in any airplane systems development
• Proficient using Microsoft Excel and other Windows Applications
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
· Experience in Quality Engineering, micro-electronics, electrical and mechanical components and systems manufacturing, design and system development / Engineering Design processes
· Experience in developing and managing metrics and Design Assurance or Process Assurance
· Six Sigma or Supplier oversight experience
· Ability to systematically analyze, understand, organize, and communicate complex technical concepts/problems across multiple disciplines and in an efficient manner
