Boeing Brazil is seeking Associate Airplane Systems Integration Engineer (Certification and Safety), reporting to the 777X Airplane Systems Integration organization of Boeing Brazil, working out of the Sao Jose Dos Campos office. This Associate Airplane Systems Integration Engineer (Certification and Safety) will be joining the 777X team as a Systems Integration Engineer supporting the Certification and Safety team.
Position Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with organizations such as Systems, Propulsion, Interiors, Avionics, Structures, Reg Admin (Boeing Certification Office), and ALIT (Aircraft Level Integration Team) to coordinate/communicate technical information, processes, and strategies supporting airplane level certification and safety efforts
• Utilize feedback and lessons learned from systems teams to contribute to improvements on product development process.
• Partner with systems IPTs to support them in completing certification and safety activities within the specified program schedule and help resolve issues/roadblocks as they arise.
• Ability to find and understand Boeing processes, FAA & EASA regulations, and certification methods of compliance (Part 21 and Part 25).
• Ability to use requirements management tools when necessary.
• Facilitate various integration meetings (Readiness reviews, ALIT/ Reg Admin, and Program requests, host System team meetings for communications and data collection).
• To integrate system level and airplane level subjects when required / necessary.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA). Applicable to Brazilian, recent engineering graduates within 6 months and foreign engineers when the employer is willing visa sponsor.
• Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
• Relevant experience in any airplane systems
• Relevant experience with ARP 4754 process
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
• It is preferred that the candidate should have certification and/or Engineering Change Approval training and if not, it is expected that they will go through certification and Engineering Change Approval training to become proficient.
• Desired knowledge and experience working with ARP 4761, DO-160. FAA/EASA/ANAC regulation (Part 21 and Part 25).
• Ability to act as a liaison and a reference in the work scope to integrate the areas.
