Logistics Analyst to join our team in
Richmond, VA. This is an
on-site position
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Gathering and analyzing logistics data to assess each step in the supply chain and identify potential areas for optimization.
- Maintaining databases of logistics information and monitoring the flow of inventory using web-based information systems.
- Documenting, tracking, and reporting the flow of materials and equipment between requestors, vendors, and receiving sites.
- Maintaining system baselines and configuration management items related to logistics and supply chain software.
- Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning distribution systems that meet mission requirements.
- Recommending and, when approved, implementing process and policy improvements to streamline logistics operations.
- Maintaining logistics records in accordance with corporate and government policies to ensure maximum audit readiness.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- Significant experience navigating complex government logistics environments and meeting regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience inventorying complex networks of equipment and managing documentation related to configuration and patching.
- Experience working across a large team to drive a logistics agenda and managing intertwined data flows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) certification.
- Experience with automated cyber risk and compliance tools or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP.
- Self-starter with excellent people skills—able to work across teams and drive change throughout the organization.
Clearance Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen and possess a current or active Secret Security Clearance
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
