Job Description
As an important member of the Global Acceptance Client Services team, this individual will play a key role in supporting Visa’s revenue goals and commercializing Visa products and solutions by closely partnering with the regional acquirer, acquirer processor and merchant sales teams and key functional teams (Client Services, Product, Regional Sales Operations, Global Merchant Sales & Acquiring) across Visa.
Through supporting the needs of this strategic Visa client segment, the Global Acceptance Center of Excellence (GACOE) has a major impact on delivering strategic objectives by bringing acceptance subject matter expertise to solve key business challenges and identifying opportunities through collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
This role will work closely with cross-functional and regional teams, bringing timely and valuable insights, as well as creating content for internal and external forums.
The candidate must demonstrate payments industry knowledge and knowledge of Visas capabilities. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading projects and providing feedback to internal partners. Good interpersonal skills and executive presence are a must.
The employee is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Assisting in the organization of client advisory groups, in collaboration with Product, Acceptance Solutions, Product Platforms, Sales and Sales Support teams, including hosting internal Webinars and authoring post-meeting deliverables.
- Helping to assess implementation viability of network changes with processors and acquirers and following the initiative through implementation and roll-out with internal stakeholders.
- Monitoring and documenting all key acceptance impacts (pre and post launch)
- Aiding in the delivery of projects or major project workstreams related to Global and Regional MSA’s strategy or corporate initiatives, including helping to create acceptance best practices to aid and remove hurdles for client-facing leads.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- 8 years of successful experience with product, account management, sales or operations accountability in the payments industry.
- Work experience with Acquirers and Processors and/or knowledge of Visa and its products/ services preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Working knowledge of payment systems including authorization & clearing systems, client connectivity, and settlement services
- Experience engaging with merchants and other acceptance stakeholders in global/ regional roles is desirable
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and an ability to synthesize information into clear, concise digestible language.
- Excellent project management skills – ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required. Comfortable working with data and reporting tools such as Dynamics, etc.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 113,100.00 to 164,050.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
