What You Will Do
The Configuration Management organization provides a unique system-level vantage point of not just engine architecture, but also of how the major business units across Pratt & Whitney feed data to deliver products. As a Configuration Management Analyst at the P2 level, you will contribute to ensuring the integrity and accuracy of configuration management processes while applying your growing expertise in the discipline. This role offers an opportunity to build on your foundational knowledge and take on increased responsibility in managing and improving configuration management practices. As part of the EDSI Commercial Engines Programs (CE) and Military Engines Programs (ME), you will play a key role in the integration of components, modules, and sub-systems into world-class commercial and military propulsion systems. These organizations focus on delivering systems solutions to meet customer requirements, driving engineering quality and productivity, and fostering the next generation of systems engineers.

Write and process engineering changes, ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

Analyze the Nature, Reason, and Substantiation of minor engineering changes, providing guidance to requestors and ensuring alignment with configuration management standards.

Perform reviews of minor engineering changes to verify compliance with standard procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Ensure adherence to established naming conventions and nomenclature standards for parts, documents, and configuration baselines to maintain consistency and traceability.

Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Design Integration teams, IPTs (Integrated Product Teams), and CIPTs (Component Integrated Product Teams), to support Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities and the engineering change process.

Support the development, maintenance, and enforcement of nomenclature guidelines and provide training or guidance to requestors and other stakeholders as needed.

English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.

Participate in department initiatives using the CORE operating system framework, contributing ideas for process improvements and efficiency gains.

Utilize configuration management tools to maintain accurate records, reports, and baselines, ensuring traceability throughout the product lifecycle.

Contribute to audits, reviews, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies.

Travel up to 10%.
Qualifications You Must Have
Qualifications We Prefer

Hands-on experience with CM procedures and the engineering change process.

Experience in tools such as Teamcenter, SAP, and Product Definition tools.

Experience contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Familiarity with the CORE operating system framework or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Communication and collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams.
