Build and lead a centralized Business Solutions Operations function that provides consistent standards, onboarding, processes, and tools for all Project Managers across Business Solutions portfolios.

Oversee Project Managers delivering efficiency, optimization, and cross‑functional improvement projects across Business Solutions.

Develop and institutionalize standardized methodologies, templates, reporting mechanisms, and governance practices aligned with ES PMO requirements.

Serve as the primary point of contact and coordination channel with ES PMO for tool rollouts, process changes, compliance updates, and reporting.

Drive the adoption of new PMO tools, platforms, and capabilities, ensuring accurate deployment and consistent usage across all PMs and portfolios.

Implementing centralized training and operational processes for PMs.

Partner with Portfolio Leads to ensure smooth division of responsibilities between operations oversight and project delivery.

Oversee intake and resource balancing.

Travel ~20% within the US.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

5+ years of experience in project, program, or portfolio operations within complex or matrixed environments.

Experience working within shared services, business operations, technology, or related enterprise functions.

Experience with PMO Frameworks

Experience leading teams of Project Managers, PMO analysts, or operational specialists.

Experience maintaining project management tools

Proven ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications We Prefer

Experience establishing or scaling PMO or operations functions in large, complex, or regulated environments.

Demonstrated ability to drive change management, cross-functional alignment, and organization-wide adoption of new tools or processes.

Proven strength in developing talent, mentoring PMs, and building high-performing delivery organizations.

Experience leading efficiency or continuous-improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, operational excellence).

Advanced ability to create compelling, executive-level presentations that clearly articulate operational insights and recommendations.

Excellent communication skills with experience preparing high-quality reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations.

Work Location: This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance of Farmington, CT, Richardson, TX, Cedar Rapids, IA, or Tucson, AZ.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
