This is position is for someone who can support any one of our Boston Metro West territory.
Endless Energy is looking to grow its sales team by adding a sales account managers to help home and business owners throughout Massachusetts with heating and cooling upgrades and replacements. While we specialize in mini-split and ducted heat pump HVAC systems, we also quote furances, boilers, and dual fuel systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing residential and light commercial customer needs, building relationships with customers throughout their process, providing timely quotes, and working closely with both our sales and installation teams.
While prior knowledge of heating and cooling systems is helpful, Endless Energy provides an excellent paid training program and supplies leads for all of its sales representatives. There is no cold calling required as a part of the sales process within our organization.
This position is a hybrid work from home position, where you will spend your time in the field on customer appointments, and work from home primarily the rest of the time.
There will generally be two days a month that you will be expected to travel to our corporate office located in Marlborough, MA for team meetings and or trainings. The ability to reliably commute to your market territory and to the office for meetings is needed to be successful in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct presentations highlighting the company and the systems we install to prospective HVAC customers and provide outstanding communication and service to the customer throughout the sales experience
- Ensure on-going contact with prospective accounts from initial presentation through closing to insure project is secured
- Meet the sales objectives as set forth in the marketing plan and budget
- Complete follow-up calls in a timely manner
- Accurately complete all sales paperwork and securing necessary deposit
- Prepare and maintain sales reports for all accounts including appointments completed and account notes
- Maintain all account records and files in company Customer Relations Management (CRM)
- Attend all company meetings or professional development seminars relative to the position and continued performance improvement as requested
- Participate at public relations/marketing events and trade shows as assigned
- Work cooperatively with other Account Managers, administration and management using a team approach

- Maintain confidentiality of customer data and company intellectual property

Qualifications
Educational Requirements and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university or two to three years of related experience in sales, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- HVAC sales or technician experience (not necessarily heat pump related) is strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Language Ability:
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, sales brochures and technical procedures
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, accounts and the general public
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area and basic algebra.
Cognitive Demands:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret statistical data and understand market trends
Computer Skills:
- Must be experienced and proficient in using computers with several software applications including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, able to learn other applications.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM strongly preferred.
Time Management:
- Must possess excellent time & priority management, ability to work without supervision and manage appointment schedule
