Description:You will be the Manufacturing Associate Manager (Level 4) for the Manufacturing team. Our team is responsible for leading supervisors, support staff, and machinists in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment while driving safety, quality, cost, and schedule excellence.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Associate Manager (Level 4) you will be responsible for overseeing team staffing, coordinating recruitment and training, and ensuring cross‑functional collaboration to meet customer and business objectives.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead a team of supervisors, support members, and machinists to achieve core performance metrics.
- Manage staffing activities including recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, and work assignments.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, production planning, maintenance, facilities, and ESH to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus.

Basic Qualifications:- Leadership experience in manufacturing
environment
- Ability to create and utilize metrics to drive
business performance
- Understanding and experience with collective
bargaining agreements and working in a union
environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the
organization
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word,
Excel, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint
- Ability to obtain US Government-issued Secret
Security Clearance
Desired Skills:- Working knowledge of manufacturing systems
including SAP and Apriso
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin policies and
procedures
- Understanding and experience in Material
Requirements Planning
- Experience in working with facilities teams and
capital project management
- Demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement/cost reduction activities

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
