Description:What You Will Be Doing - Coordinate with Sourcing, Operations, Design Engineering, the Supply Base and Industry experts to facilitate the design, production, test and qualification of aerospace and defense products.
- Analyze technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, manufacturing limitations, supplier facilities, and parts/equipment availability.
- Investigate and recommend potential suppliers based on assessments of response to specifications, costs, inspection of facilities, and historical performance.
- Facilitate technical trade-offs and standardization that may lead to more economical procurement.
- Recommend design changes to mitigate production issues.
- Lead teams of Supplier and internal staff in collaboratively solving problems in Producibility, Quality, Inspection, Cost, Mistake-Proofing, Test, Reliability and Affordability.
Further Information About This OpportunityDomestic travel on an as needed basis to supplier facilities in the South East U.S. (up to 75% weekly)

This position is in Marietta, GA Discover Marietta.Basic Qualifications:- Global Supply Chain Management Experience supporting Production, Sustainment, and/or Repairs
- Experience interfacing with Manufacturing & Supplier Quality, Production Control, Supply Chain and Program Leadership, Production Manufacturing & Engineering
- Experience working with Integrated Product Teams
- Experience capturing, aggregate, analyzing, and presenting data that effectively demonstrates supplier performance, and then identifying the potential risks and opportunities, to obtain a positive outcome
- Experience interpreting technical blueprints, specifications, and drawings, utilizing DIMS, PDM,and/or EDMS
- Experience working with supplier engagements and a familiarity with Aircraft Manufacturing Procurement Processes specifically within the Aerospace or Defense arena
- Experience with problem solving techniques, tools and methodologies; such as root cause corrective action (RCCA)
- Project Management experience and/or PMP certification
Desired Skills:- Working knowledge of both airframe commodities and systems/major commodities
- Experience communicating and coordinating across disciplines (GSC, IPT, etc.,), interfacing with early career and all levels of leadership from both a technical and program management perspective.
- Professional presentation development and delivery experience
- Comfortable with multi-tasking and working with frequently changing priorities
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
