Raytheon is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager (PM) to support the Product Support (PS) MA&S portfolio programs. Reporting directly to the MA&S Director, this role is responsible for managing MA&S internal programs supporting the Naval Power (NP) and Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Units (SBU). This portfolio consists of several strategic franchise programs each requiring strong collaboration and management skills.
The PM will lead their team to ensure all aspects of the portfolio’s programs meet lifecycle requirements including cost, schedule, and performance criteria with an added focus on business development and growth. This position will coordinate proposals, business plans, and budgets for the programs, establish cost-focused performance targets, and direct work to achieve these objectives.
What You Will Do

Lead all aspects of program cost, schedule, and technical execution to drive predictable performance

Understand and support the Strategic Vision of the organization and ensure strategic alignment and business development.

Instill trust to develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with internal partners to ensure proper execution and grow the business and to understand their strategic interests & viewpoints.

Manage risk and opportunity (R&O) processes, including program revenue and profit recognition, to mitigate organizational risk.

Hold profit and loss, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and financial metric reviews.

Identify, develop, and assess new business opportunities, and allocate resources to achieve annual revenue growth and long-term objectives over the Long-Range Plan (LRP).

Lead Capture Management activities as the portfolio Growth Lead to include proposal submittals, cost volume development and financial forecasting

Develop and review cost proposals and prepare Submit Gate and Program Start-Up packages for management review and approval.

Lead a matrixed and geographically dispersed team across both domestic and international locations.

Regularly collaborate with internal partners across the Raytheon business.

Provide supervisory administration and mentoring to direct reports

Expect to travel domestically and internationally at least 25% of the time
Qualifications You Must Have
-
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

Raytheon Program Manager Level 4 Certification or higher or ability to obtain within 1 Year of hire

Experience with Capture Management / Proposal Management

Raytheon Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) certification

Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required on Day 1
Qualifications We Prefer

Working knowledge of air defense and shipboard weapons systems in both programmatic and technical aspects

Working knowledge of logistics toolsets in both programmatic and technical aspects

Ability to lead cross functional proposal development teams responsible for several areas of scope including Training, Logistics, Life Cycle Support, Field Engineering and Material Procurement.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
