Position Overview
We are a top-ranked, high-volume loan team operating under Rate with a goal of scaling to $300M+ in annual production. This role is designed for a licensed Loan Officer who wants to step into an active production environment with immediate income, real deal flow, and long-term growth potential.
You will play a key role in supporting production, managing loan flow, and helping convert opportunities into closed business—while developing your own pipeline over time.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze loan applications and borrower qualifications
- Structure and present loan options to clients
- Engage with prospects prior to pre-approval and assist in conversion
- Manage loan pipeline and ensure timely progression of files
- Coordinate with processing, underwriting, and closing to resolve issues
- Support client and agent communication throughout transactions
- Nurture customer and realtor relationships
- Assist with pre-approvals, pricing scenarios, and offer preparation
- Handle closing disclosures and final-stage questions as needed
- Maintain organization across multiple active files in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications - must meet the following criteria:
- Active NMLS license (required)
- Prior experience in mortgage lending, loan processing, and origination
- Working knowledge of Conventional, Jumbo, FHA, VA, and other loan products (non-QM)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Motivated to grow into a high-producing Loan Officer
- MA resident, preferably within driving distance to Greater Boston
Compensation Structure
This role offers multiple income streams designed to provide both consistency and strong upside potential:
- Team Production: Participate in overall team success with compensation tied to total production, providing a steady baseline income and exposure to high volume.
- Assigned & Database Opportunities: Earn enhanced compensation on loans you manage and opportunities generated from an established client base.
- Self-Generated Business: Higher earning potential on loans you originate through your own relationships and referral network.
Expectations

Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
