ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to serve veterans at CalVet's Los Angeles facility. You'll work across speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders, collaborating with physicians, nurses, OTs, PTs, and caregivers as part of a true interdisciplinary team. This is meaningful, high-continuity work where your clinical skill directly improves veterans' independence and quality of life.
Unlike high-volume outpatient or school-based settings, this role offers a more sustainable pace, giving you the space to be genuinely present with each patient, build real therapeutic relationships, and practice at the top of your license without the burnout. If you're passionate about serving those who've served, this is the kind of position that reminds you why you chose this field.
