Raytheon's Receiver/Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) Department is the focal point for receiver, exciter, beam steering, and signal processing technology within Raytheon. The department is responsible for the design, development, integration, and support to production builds, and lifecycle support of Raytheon products.
REPA is seeking a technically skilled and motivated GEM-T Forebody Digital IF Receiver Projects Lead to manage and execute key projects related to the sustainment, modernization, and advancement of digital Intermediate Frequency (IF) receiver systems within the GEM-T forebody. This role focuses on driving technology refresh efforts, addressing obsolescence challenges, and ensuring the continued high performance and reliability of these critical systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the GEM-T leadership team, cross-functional engineers, and program stakeholders to deliver project results while developing the technical and leadership skills necessary for future growth opportunities within the organization.
What You Will Do:

Lead and manage projects for the GEM-T forebody digital IF receiver systems, including technology refresh initiatives, obsolescence resolutions, and performance enhancements.

Define project goals, technical requirements, and deliverables in collaboration with the GEM-T Forebody Digital IF Receiver Lead and program leadership.

Support production sustainment by integrating updated components, designs, and technologies into established systems with minimal disruption.

Perform hands-on contributions to the design, analysis, and testing of digital IF receiver systems, particularly within the GEM-T missile forebody.

Analyze technical risks and challenges, developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.

Work closely with suppliers, manufacturing teams, and quality assurance to align project deliverables with RTX standards and program objectives.

Prepare and present technical documentation, progress reports, and updates to internal stakeholders and external customers.

Develop and maintain project schedules, resource allocations, and plans to meet program milestones.

Seek mentorship and professional development opportunities to prepare for future leadership roles within the GEM-T program and broader organization.

This 1st shift role will be 100% onsite and based in Tewksbury/Andover, MA.
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience with digital IF receiver systems, RF systems, or related aerospace/defense technologies.

Experience with digital signal processing, RF systems, and intermediate frequency receiver architectures.

Experience managing or contributing to technology refresh or sustainment projects.

Experience with manufacturing and production processes for high-reliability systems.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

Experience with digital IF receiver systems in missile or aerospace applications.

Proficiency in engineering tools for RF and digital system design and analysis, such as MATLAB, Simulink, HFSS, or similar.

Familiarity with MIL-STD specifications, DoD requirements, and ITAR compliance.

Knowledge of FPGA-based digital signal processing and high-speed data acquisition systems.

Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated interest in pursuing future leadership opportunities.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
