Program IPT Lead

The Program IPT Lead (Install) is responsible for cost, schedule, and performance within the scope of their assigned team. Acting as a surrogate program manager, this role provides execution oversight and accountability across multiple competencies. The IPT Lead enables program managers to delegate complex execution activities while maintaining visibility into progress and risk. This role supports disciplined execution and informed decision-making.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead an integrated product team responsible for defined scope, deliverables, and execution outcomes.
- Manage cost, schedule, and performance in alignment with program plans, POA&Ms, and work breakdown structures.
- Coordinate activities across engineering, logistics, testing, training, and operational stakeholders.
- Monitor execution progress, identify risks or issues, and implement mitigation strategies as required.
- Provide regular status updates, insights, and recommendations to program leadership.
- Track and report action items resulting from meetings, reviews, and execution activities.
- Support disciplined execution under the oLSI model while enabling rapid response to changing priorities.
Basic Qualifications
- Clearance & Citizenship: Active/Current Top Secret. U.S. citizenship required.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, or related discipline & 3+ years of experience, OR Associate’s degree & 7+ years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading IPTs or cross‑functional teams
- Program management or execution oversight experience
- Familiarity with managing cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week.
Compensation: $105,000-$157,000. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
