*What You Will Do **
As an Electromagnetic Engineering Effects (E3) Engineer, you will support the System Engineering (SE) and test in one or more of the following areas:
-
Primary role will be to perform E3, to include EMI/EMC, Lightning, Shielding, HERO, EMP analyses and support space portfolios in developing and delivering CDRLs; support EMI testing
-
Support/perform main aspects of EMI testing to include: logistics, writing of test plans & procedures, overseeing equipment availability, test setup, performing testing, and generating test reports for stakeholders and customers

Apply your E3 skills to enable the logical and systematic conversion of customer needs into total systems derived requirements and solutions

Perform and support functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Perform and support requirements verification through: compiling, organizing, performing, evaluating and documenting completed compliance verification process which assesses design performance and operational electromagnetic issues at both the package and system levels

Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight years of prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following
-
Knowledge of MIL-STD-461/464 requirements and the applicable test methods
-
• Knowledge of Electromagnetic Interference / Compatibility (EMI/EMC) theory and ability to apply it to design, modeling and analyses
-
Ability and willingness to perform testing work on-site
-
Willingness/eligibility to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance; US Citizenship Required
Qualifications We Prefer
-
Experience with satellite, airborne systems, and box level test and analysis (or equivalent)
-
Knowledge of test equipment operation, including EMI Test Receiver, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, and Signal Generators and other EMI test equipment
-
Generating E3 Control Plans, Test Plans, Test Procedures, Lab Reports, or equivalent
-
TILE, Excel, and PSPICE or equivalent experience
-
E3 Analysis

Microsoft Office applications

Demonstrated strong understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors

Excellent written and verbal communications skills, proactive and self-starter, demonstrated teamwork and leadership

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
