Not RequiredJoin Collins Aerospace as a Principal Specialist, Customer Service supporting commercial operations within a highly technical aerospace and defense environment. In this role, you will help provide service to external customers, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of customer quotation, billing, and transactional processes that support repair and service operations. Working closely with engineering, operations, finance, and planning teams, you will play an important role in delivering responsive customer support while maintaining compliance with contractual and operational requirements.
This position is well suited for someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking with customer interaction in a detail-oriented office environment. You will prepare customer quotations based on technical and commercial inputs, validate invoicing accuracy, support resolution of pricing and billing issues, and help maintain accurate commercial records within ERP systems. The role also offers exposure to contract interpretation, pricing structures, operational workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and customer responsiveness across the business.
What You Will Do:

Prepare and issue customer quotations based on technical requirements, service scope, and established pricing guidelines

Review invoices for accuracy, contract compliance, global trade compliance, and alignment with approved pricing structures

Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to pricing, service status, lead times, and scope clarification

Partner with engineering, planning, operations, and finance teams to support accurate and timely quotation and invoicing activities

Monitor work orders to ensure accurate cost capture and proper commercial setup within internal systems

Support the resolution of pricing discrepancies, invoice disputes, and customer claims in collaboration with internal stakeholders

Maintain accurate customer, quotation, invoicing, and transactional records across business systems

Identify opportunities to improve invoicing efficiency, quotation turnaround time, and overall customer responsiveness

Support additional operational and commercial activities as assigned by leadership

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

Prior experience in technical customer service, commercial operations, quotation management, billing, invoicing, or order administration within a manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, or service-based environment

Experience interpreting technical, contractual, and commercial information to support customer requests, pricing, quotations, or invoicing activities
Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience supporting commercial or operational activities within the semiconductor, MRO, manufacturing, aerospace, or other technical service industries

Prior experience in customer support, quotation management, pricing, billing, invoicing, or order administration processes

Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Epicor, or similar business management platforms

Familiarity with technical repair terminology, service workflows, or industrial operations environments

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, support competing customer demands, and meet deadlines in a high-volume operational environment

Experience identifying process improvement opportunities that enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer responsiveness

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
