General Description:
The EHS Management Systems Programs Manager is responsible for leading governance, optimization, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management systems, digital platforms, and global programs. This role serves as a critical bridge between EHS operations, technology, compliance, data analytics, and business stakeholders to ensure systems and programs drive risk reduction, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and informed decision-making.
This position manages enterprise EHS systems, drives program standardization, oversees reporting and analytics, supports digital transformation initiatives, and advances a proactive safety culture through scalable processes and technology-enabled solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
EHS Management Systems Leadership
- Lead administration, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise EHS management platforms (e.g. Intelex, Enablon, Cority or similar).
- Develop and maintain system architecture, workflows, controls, and data integrity standards.
- Manage system enhancements, testing, configuration changes, upgrades, and user adoption strategies.
- Serve as business owner for EHS digital tools, ensuring systems align with regulatory and operational requirements.
Program Management & Governance
- Design, implement, and sustain global EHS programs, standards, and management system processes.
- Support alignment with management system frameworks including International Organization for Standardization-aligned approaches such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Establish governance processes, KPIs, dashboards, and performance reviews for EHS programs.
- Lead program execution for initiatives such as risk management, audits, corrective actions, and compliance tracking.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and manage EHS metrics, dashboards, and performance analytics.
- Partner with business intelligence teams to leverage tools such as Microsoft Power BI or similar reporting platforms.
- Analyze trends, identify systemic risks, and provide insights to support strategic decisions.
- Ensure data quality, reporting accuracy, and effective executive-level reporting.
Continuous Improvement & Digital Transformation
- Drive process improvement initiatives using risk-based and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve scalability through technology.
- Support innovation initiatives involving mobile tools, predictive analytics, AI-enabled risk insights, and digital safety solutions.
- Lead cross-functional projects supporting modernization of EHS processes.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner with EHS Regional leaders, IT, Operations, Compliance, and external vendors to align system capabilities with business needs.
- Support training, change management, and communication strategies to strengthen adoption.
- Provide support during audits, assessments, and regulatory inquiries.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years experience in EHS, compliance programs, EHS systems administration, or program management.
- Experience managing enterprise EHS platforms and digital systems.
- Strong understanding of EHS management systems, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Experience with analytics, dashboards, and performance reporting.
- Proven success leading cross-functional programs and complex initiatives.
Preferred
- Board of Certified Safety Professionals credentials (e.g. CSP)
- Institute of Internal Auditors or ISO lead auditor credentials
- Project management certification (PMP)
- Experience supporting global or multi-site operations.
- Experience with digital transformation and business intelligence tools.

Estimated compensation for this position:
100,000.00 – 125,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
